Johnny’s passion for guitar began at the age of eight in his hometown, Bari, where he pursued formal studies through adolescence. He later moved to Milan to attend the CPM Music Institute—an esteemed school founded by Franco Mussida—studying under leading musicians such as Luca Nobis, Claudio Bazzari, Pietro La Pietra, Michele Quaini, and Giorgio Cocilovo. He earned a bachelor’s degree officially recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education (MUR). In Milan, Johnny became an active presence in the city’s vibrant live music scene, performing at venues like Legend Club, Barrios, Hard Rock Cafe Milano, and others. As a session guitarist, he works both live and in the studio, delivering professional performances on electric and acoustic guitar. He records in his high-end home studio and in selected professional studios such as Alari Park, collaborating with a variety of artists and producers. Alongside performing, Johnny also teaches guitar privately and has participated in guitar trade shows, including the Bologna Guitar Show with Vintage Authority. His focus remains on offering high-quality performances and recordings, supported by professional gear and a versatile, refined musical approach
La passione di Johnny per la chitarra nasce all’età di otto anni nella sua città natale, Bari, dove ha intrapreso un percorso di studi strutturato fino alla maggiore età. Successivamente si è trasferito a Milano per perfezionarsi al CPM Music Institute, la prestigiosa scuola fondata da Franco Mussida, studiando con docenti di riferimento come Luca Nobis, Claudio Bazzari, Pietro La Pietra, Michele Quaini e Giorgio Cocilovo. Ha conseguito la laurea triennale con riconoscimento ufficiale del MUR (Ministero dell’Università e della Ricerca). A Milano si è inserito attivamente nella scena musicale live, esibendosi in locali come il Legend Club, il Barrios, l’Hard Rock Cafe Milano e altri. In qualità di chitarrista turnista, opera sia dal vivo che in studio, offrendo performance professionali con chitarra elettrica e acustica. Registra nel proprio home studio, attrezzato ad altissimo livello, e in studi selezionati come Alari Park, collaborando con numerosi artisti e produttori. Oltre all’attività dal vivo e in studio, Johnny insegna chitarra a livello privato e ha partecipato a fiere specializzate come il Guitar Show di Bologna con Vintage Authority. Il suo obiettivo è offrire performance e registrazioni di alta qualità, con un approccio musicale versatile e una strumentazione professionale.
